I’m a Certified Social Worker who earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Utah Valley University in 2025. I’ve worked with teens, adults, and families in a variety of settings, including at-risk youth programs, mental health services, substance use treatment, and child welfare. I’m trained in TF-CBT, CPT, SBIRT, and Domestic Violence Levels I & II.
Starting therapy can feel awkward, overwhelming, or even scary—especially as a teen. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are without feeling judged, pressured, or misunderstood. I believe therapy works best when there’s a real connection, honesty, and trust. You don’t have to have everything figured out to start healing.
I enjoy working with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationships, life changes, and feeling stuck. I also support individuals struggling with addiction, bipolar disorder, and family stress. My approach blends DBT, IFS, and Motivational Interviewing with authenticity, compassion, humor, and genuine connection.
You can find Emily reading, paddleboarding, spending time with family, or on outdoor adventures when not working.
