Get To Know Me
Mental  Health Therapist

Kendra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Hopeful Alliance. She graduated from the University of Utah with a Master's in Social Work in 2017. As a therapist, she has worked in residential treatment, inpatient, crisis, and outpatient therapy. She has developed and facilitated groups in trauma and DBT and trained students in the field.

Life is full of unexpected bumps, making it challenging to handle the emotional and behavioral responses that follow them. Kendra strongly believes that many who walk through her door already know what they need and want. She believes her role is not only to be a listening ear but also to provide insight and skills to assist with your healing. She tailors her treatment to fit your needs and prioritizes building a solid therapeutic relationship.

She enjoys working with ambitious individuals who want to move forward in building their lives. Kendra also enjoys working with single mothers and has a special place in my heart for them. For several years, Kendra has completed psychological assessments for patients wanting bariatric surgery and enjoys working with this population. She guides individuals in workshops on mindfulness, self-compassion, boundaries, and more throughout the year.

When not working, she enjoys working out, traveling, hiking, reading, making new memories, and being the best mom she can be.  Some of her favorite things are the color purple, brownies, sweatpants, and skeleton keys.
